Credit Suisse, Partner of the Museo d’Arte of the City of Lugano, Supports the “Omaggio a Umberto Boccioni” Exhibition

In keeping with established tradition, Credit Suisse will once again be supporting the Museo d’Arte of the City of Lugano in connection with an interesting exhibition dedicated to futurism and to Umberto Boccioni. Moreover, Credit Suisse has renewed its collaboration contract with the City of Lugano, and is now a partner of the Museo d’Arte.

Credit Suisse first supported an exhibition at the Museo d’Arte Moderna in Lugano as early as 1992. Since then, the works of numerous world-renowned painters and sculptors have adorned the museum itself or the streets of the city of Lugano, invariably to great public and critical acclaim. Credit Suisse has affirmed its loyalty to the museum over the years, regularly renewing its commitment, which has evolved beyond a simple sponsorship to become a true partnership success story.

Manucher Alexander-David, representing Credit Suisse at the introduction to the exhibition, indeed confirmed that the “collaboration with the Museo d’Arte in Lugano has been richly rewarding and allowed our bank to contribute to the consolidation of the initiatives of the museum, the Cultural Activities Department, and, equally important, the city of Lugano, which is recognized as a magnet on the international art scene.”

As testimony to the above, Credit Suisse has renewed its collaboration contract with the Cultural Activities Department of the City of Lugano for another five years, now in the official capacity as partner of the Museo d’Arte.

Cultural sponsorship plays a key role in underpinning the communication strategy of Credit Suisse, and is an integral part of its corporate philosophy. Within the immense, diverse world of culture, Credit Suisse pursues sponsorship activities primarily in the fine arts, classical music, and jazz, and works together with prestigious national and international cultural institutions.

Credit Suisse would like to express its sincere thanks to the Cultural Activities Department of the City of Lugano and to the museum staff, whose expertise and enthusiasm have made this new cultural initiative possible.
