Ballymena Company, Raceview Karting, has purchased the UK and Ireland’s first Formula 1 simulator, investing £130k to acquire this top of the range high tech machine.

The system utilises on-board active feedback steering with genuine pedals for acceleration and braking and provides an experience which is as close as you can get to being at the track without actually being there. Used by all Formula 1 teams to prepare their drivers for each racetrack, this state of the art simulator has only recently been available for public purchase. With the support of Ulster Bank, Raceview Karting, has been among the first to buy.

This investment of £130k marks another milestone in Raceview’s history as it endeavors to bring the best Go Karting experience to customers in Northern Ireland.

Ulster Bank’s Ballymena Business Centre Relationship Manager, David Scott says: “Raceview Karting is recognised as professionally run karting venue, providing the people of Northern Ireland with a completely unique karting experience,” he says.

“Since Raceview opened its doors in 2001, owner Gerard O’Boyle has not rested on his laurels. With existing plans and investments in infrastructure in place he is fully dedicated to bettering the business in every way possible.”

“We are committed to continuing our support of the business which we feel has good potential for further growth,” Mr Scott adds.

In addition to the owner, the company maintains a core group of young dynamic staff to ensure all customers receive the best service possible.
